Work efficiently and safely with the HAZET heat gun

·

With its new heat gun set, the Remscheid-based quality tool specialist HAZET has once again skilfully combined high functionality and work safety.

The 2300-watt basic unit of the 6-piece heat gun set 1990 N/6 weighs 750 grams and has a soft touch grip zone, making it really comfortable to hold. With an even distribution of weight, the device can be placed upright safely in the standby position and impresses with optimal ergonomics. Both the temperature range of 80 – 650°C and the air flow range of 200 – 550 l/min (at 20°C) are electronically controlled and continuously adjustable. The temperature can be set to either Celsius or Fahrenheit and all set information is easy to read on the LCD display.

Five pre-programmed and configurable temperature and air flow storage positions make working comfortable. The fine-mesh dust protection filter effectively reduces minute floating particles and can be installed and removed.

The ceramic heating element is made of protected solid ceramic for optimum compatibility, even in higher temperature ranges. The integrated temperature probe easily implements the digital temperature control concept (Close Loop) and, supported by the optimised air flow guidance, thus leads to the best possible work results.

The Power Safety Function (Eco mode) can be individually configured: Eco 1 corresponds to the motion-triggered Eco function, while Eco 2 enables the position-triggered Eco function. This saves up to 40 % energy and reduces the noise level up to 50 %. In addition, the standby position reduces the power consumption in Eco mode at constant temperature. By simply pressing the standby button (hash key) the device switches to the standby function.

The entire device has been tested for 1000 performance hours and therefore belongs to the Long Life motor class 1 kh. Thanks to the suspending device, the heat gun can be stored in a space-saving manner.

The set is supplied in the practical HAZET L-Boxx 190 L-136 and contains: Heat gun ∙ Nozzle set 1990 N-020/5 (Spoon reflector nozzle angled at 90° ∙ Solder reflector nozzle ∙ Wide slot nozzle angled at 15° ∙ Pipe nozzle ∙ Pressure roller 30 mm wide)

Special accessories – Protective ring for heat gun

As a suitable supplement to the aforementioned heat gun set, the optional protective ring 1990 N-01 prevents burns to the hot nozzle pipe during operation and also ensures the device is safely stored. It increases safety when handling the device and fits HAZET 1990 N/6 and 1990 N-010 models. The protective ring is a helpful alternative to the short standard cover of the item and can be easily inserted into the standard case insert of the L-Boxx when assembled or disassembled.

Further information on the aforementioned products is available in the latest HAZET Special Worldwide promotional brochure 2021, online at www.hazet.de or from authorised specialist dealers.
