HAZET presents new products for tradesmen

If the basis is right, the result is usually good

This applies to everything that is built, but also to organisation of work on the building site. So it is important for professional tradesmen to always have good tools with them and to rely on high quality, especially when it comes to basic equipment. Once again, the Remscheid-based manufacturer HAZET is offering a number of classics in its new catalogue.

Open everything – with the universal control cabinet key

The universal control cabinet key is just the thing for all those who are always looking for the right key: it opens and closes 14 different locks, for example on control cabinets, heating valves and vents or window and door handles. The handy pocket-sized helper contains female square drives in sizes 5 ∙ 7 and 8 mm, female triangular drives in sizes 9 and 10 mm, a 6.3 mm (1/4″) hexagon socket, a 3 mm grub screw and a step spanner from 6 to 10 mm, as well as a chain, an adapter and a reversible bit with slot and cross head. The universal control cabinet key with item number 4617-1 is made of die-cast zinc and is manufactured according to high quality standards "Made In Germany".

Measuring and straightening

A folding rule is a must-have for any building site or any workshop, or for handicrafts or in the household. Characterised by its special hardness and strength, this folding rule from HAZET with article number 2154-200 has the classic length of 2 m and is made of selected beech wood. The 10 sections are 3.2 mm thick. The internal joints guarantee continuous scaling. This is divided into mm / cm in two parts and is printed on both sides. This ensures compliance with EC tolerance class III. The hardened, wear-free spring steel joints are also internal and guarantee long service life. The black protective coating with white scaling and white HAZET logo is not only highly abrasion-resistant, dirt-repellent and moisture-proof, it also looks stylish.

Spirit levels

The anodised HAZET spirit level offers high measuring accuracy of 1 mm/m (0.057°) in both the horizontal and vertical plane. Temperature-independent installation of the block bubbles allows measurements from -20° C to +50° C. The fluorescent, antistatic liquid inside the break-resistant acrylic glass bubbles ensures good readability at all times, even in dim light. HAZET provides a 30-year leak-proof guarantee. Practical: the extremely strong aluminium profile with profile weight of 590 g/m has a hole for horizontal and perpendicular attachment or transfer of markings. The spirit level is available under item number 2154-40 for the 40 cm long variant. Use item number 2154-80 to order the tool in a length of 80 cm.

Sturdy buckets

You can never have enough builder's buckets. The classic containers are used everywhere: to transport mortar, sand, water or tools on the building site and in the garden to carry soil, bark mulch, fertiliser or smaller plants to the place where they are needed. Due to their stable design with integrated cruciform bases, the 20 l buckets from HAZET are particularly well suited for transporting heavy materials. A litre measure of 2-20 l is provided on the inside of the bucket for easy reading of the fill volume. The builders' buckets with item number 197-6 are made of recycled materials "Made in Germany", are certified by TÜV and bear the "Blue Angel" eco-label. Their internal diameter is 335 mm, at the upper rim 365 mm.

Mixing and filling plaster

Those who often work with plaster regularly need soft rubber plaster cups in which the powder can be easily mixed with water to form a homogeneous mass. The HAZET set 197-73/5 contains five of these cups with a diameter of 125 mm and a height of 95 mm. The pliable material and the conically curved shape means that even hard, dried plaster residue from previous use is easy to remove.
To go with this, the Remscheid company also offers the 824-6 painter's spatula with a blade width of 60 mm. It is used for applying the mixed plaster, for example in cable slots or installation boxes as well as for covering transitions on plasterboard walls. It is also used to remove wallpaper or adhesives from surfaces. The painter's spatula features a flexibly ground blade and a lacquered, flat grip as well as a hanging hole in the handle.

Further information on all mentioned items is available in the latest HAZET brochure special worldwide 2022/23, online at www.hazet.de or from authorised specialist dealers.
