In 1953, Alfred Zerver invents and develops the "HAZET Assistent", the first movable, collapsible tool trolley. It is still the HAZET flagship today and is considered a cult object.

A new office building is erected in Remscheid Güldenwerth and HAZET develops into a leading manufacturer of specialty tools for the automotive industry in Germany.
