HAZET – Das Werkzeug logo

There are moments in everyday workshop life when even a well-stocked tool assortment reaches its limits. You can’t find a suitable screwdriver bit in your bit set or a suitable socket to solve the problem. Now you can either start improvising – or turn to one of HAZET’s new specialty tools.

For example, HAZET, the Remscheid-based manufacturer of quality tools and workshop equipment, has developed the exhaust equipment tools 4684-1A and 4684-2A for the removal and installation of the rubber retainers on exhaust systems. These practical hook tools are ideally designed for removing or reattaching the rubber retainers from their location notches on the underbody. Depending on the vehicle model, either the 1A design with a 40 mm hook angled at 9° or the 2A design with a 17 mm hook curved semi-circularly at 20° is suitable for this purpose.

Both designs are chrome-plated, have a length of 209 mm and feature HAZET’s new ergonomic 2-component T-handles. They offer a secure grip, have a functional design and are fitted with a hanging hole.

Equally simple and practical is the new special tool for battery plugs 4650-3A, whose profile – with a wrench size of 1.7 x 14.5 mm – is specifically designed for the delicate slotted holes in battery plugs. This 95 mm-long problem-solver is also suitable for use where clearance is limited; it has a chrome-plated surface and also features the ergonomic T-handle.

HAZET has developed two practical tools for fiddly work on handbrake systems, for example on MERCEDES-BENZ passenger cars, the Sprinter or the Crafter from VW. The draw spring assembly tool 4964-1A is optimally shaped for removing or installing the handbrake shoe draw springs on the rear disc brakes. The tool, fitted with a sturdy hook, has a chrome-plated surface and has a length of 162 mm.

The hand brake shoe retaining spring tool 2730A is used for commissioning the retaining springs on the hand brake shoes of the rear disc brakes, e.g. on MERCEDES-BENZ passenger cars, the Sprinter or the VW Crafter. The tool has a length of 142 mm and a location notch for the end of the retaining spring. Both tools are also fitted with the ergonomic T-handle and offer proven, functional and robust HAZET quality, ‘Made in Germany’.
