The conditions for packing and delivery should, by agreement between HAZET-WERK and the supplier, regulate and determine the general requirements for packing and delivery.

2.1 General

For each delivery, the materials should be packed properly so that damage and limitation in their further use/processing is prevented according to their type and nature. The goods must be protected from external damage and mutual interferences. The packaging should be restricted to an appropriate size. The use of so-called information and hazard symbols (e.g. glass symbol for fragile) is expressly permitted. The packaging filler materials used should be recyclable and unmixed. The packaging filler materials are to be strictly optimised according to ecological principles. If non-recyclable materials are delivered, their disposal is burdened or a disposal fee is charged.

2.2 Package

The smallest unit of action, usually a cardboard box, packet or envelope/bag, is defined as a package. Only pack one article per package (unmixed) – NO mixed packages. A package may weigh a maximum of 15 kg.

2.3 Labelling

Every package is to be provided with the following – clearly legible – information (font size at least 0.3 cm/12 typographic points) in the form of a label:

2.4 Raw material

• Bundle:
  Bundle weight max. 2 to., ends coloured, identified according to information in the order, 1 label per bundle with batch number, quality, dimension, quantity, delivery date
• Panels from medium format size:
  Nailed pallets, 4 lengthwise wooden members, 6 crosswise wooden members, cross-section of the wooden members approx. 90 x 70 mm, length approx. 10 mm smaller than the cut, wooden members not above package width and length, edge protection split in length max. 3 to. packages.
• Panels smaller than medium format size:
  Nailed pallets, 3 lengthwise wooden members, 5 crosswise wooden members, cross-section of the wooden members
  approx. 90 x 70 mm, length approx. 10 mm smaller than the cut, wooden members not above package width and length, edge protection split in length max. 3 to. packages.
• For small cuts, the number of wooden members can be reduced accordingly upon agreement with us.

Any information and hazard symbols – e.g. glass symbol for fragile – can be attached to the packages independent on the above details.

2.5 Loading equipment

2.5.1 Standardised loading equipment

Goods that are delivered by freight must be prepared exclusively on HAZET-compliant loading equipment.

  The fire symbol of the European Pallet Association, the EPAL symbol
  The EPAL test clamp
• On the right corner block:
  The fire symbol of the European Pallet Pool of the national railway, the EUR symbol

3.2 Delivery

The delivery must be made according to information in our order. The delivery address (place of delivery), unloading point and recipient/user must be adhered to and specified on the delivery documents (usually delivery note and letter of consignment) (see also point 3.4). At HAZET, exchangeable Europool flat pallets (80x120 cm) are always exchanged with the carriers. Freight carriers are not permitted to charge exchange fees to HAZET.

3.3 Delivery date and quantity

Delivery date and delivery quantity must be adhered to according to the order, a shift in the deadline is generally only possible when a change is made to the order (in writing or by telephone), part deliveries must be minimised. Deliveries above 2 loading metres (approx. 4 pallets with dimensions 80 x 120 cm) must be announced at the latest 2 working days before the scheduled delivery date.

3.4 Shipping documents

3.4.1 Delivery notes

The delivery notes must be included when sending the shipping documents, an appropriately labelled package must be included when sending with several packages.
The use of externally attached shipping bags is favourable, for example.
At least the following information is required on the delivery note:

• Supplier number
• Delivery note number
• Delivery address
• Unloading station
• Recipient/commission, as specified in our order
• Order no. HAZET per order item
• Designation
• HAZET material no. per article
• Quantity and unit per article (unit of quantity according to our order)
• Number of pieces of loading equipment or packages
• (e.g. shipment consists of packages/loading equipment)
• Weight in kg (gross/net)

3.4.2 Packing lists

Packing lists reproduce the content of a package in a concise manner. They contain the following information:

• HAZET order number
• Order date
• HAZET material number
• Designation
• Delivered quantity
• Number of packages
• In the case of deliveries from non-EU countries (third countries, e.g. Switzerland, Norway) a customs invoice must be included with the delivery documents. This customs invoice must be identical to the delivery documents and commercial invoice (vendor invoice). There must be no deviating amounts or quantities between the customs and commercial invoice, otherwise there may be considerable difficulties in the import management.

In the course of a long-term and fair collaboration with HAZET, we request you, our supplier, to keep to these guidelines.
These general regulations for packaging and delivery show the general conditions and requirements. In individual cases, this arrangement can be modified in agreement with HAZET. Such a modification must be agreed upon separately in writing.
If necessary, supplier audits can be carried out at short notice.
