Putting the pressure on – compressed air is indispensable in the workshop. Intelligent solutions are needed to ensure it is available wherever it is required. HAZET, the Remscheid-based specialist in high-quality tools, has added the 9040 OS-10 open hose reel to its extensive range of pneumatic equipment. The steel drum, which can be conveniently mounted on the wall, holds a 20-metre-long compressed air hose with an internal diameter of 10 mm. It now makes compressed air readily available ‘over the air’ anywhere in the workshop – and after use, there are no trip hazards on the floor, ensuring maximum operational safety for staff and material. The integrated rewind mechanism neatly winds the hose back onto the reel. The optional swivelling base extends the operating range to up to 180°. The air inlet is via a 3/8″ outside thread. Optionally, the air inlet can be fitted with the HAZET safety clutch 9000-061. This ensures that compressed air reaches the connected devices efficiently and at a maximum working pressure of 12 bar. Hose whipping is prevented and a wide range of country-specific nipples can be used.

There, for example, it can power the new Twin Turbo Faust 9012PPT palm impact wrench. The extremely compact new HAZET ½” impact wrench offers a maximum loosening torque of 550 Nm and can be used in the tightest of spaces and installation spaces. For example, it can now be used to easily loosen brake calliper, strut bearing, shock absorber or steering bolts, even in places where a conventional impact wrench could not previously be used. With its high performance twin hammer mechanism, the practical Twin Turbo delivers a maximum tightening torque of 500 Nm to the screw connection via a half-inch square drive. This generates only minimal reaction forces. At 8,000 revolutions per minute, it is pleasantly fast and efficient.

The same applies to the compressed-air-powered 9040T-1 turbo air blow gun: a universally useful tool that no workshop should be without. Various surfaces and environments are reliably cleaned thanks to a powerful air pulse generated by the swirl nozzle. Even stubborn dirt, for example in wheel arches or on rim rims, can be thoroughly pre-cleaned for removal and installation at a maximum pressure of 12 bar.

In vehicle detailing, this handy air blow gun is ideal for removing pet hair and other debris from floor mats or seat upholstery, for example. When treating leather surfaces, liquids are effortlessly removed before the next steps in the process. In this way, the new HAZET products ensure tidiness and efficiency with suitable (air) pressure.
